Congratulations to Professor Maria Hrmova who was presented with two awards from the Slovak Academy of Sciences (SAV) earlier this year.
On Tuesday June 6th 2023, Prof. Hrmova was presented with the SAV Gold Medal for her achievements in the field of biochemistry and biophysics. As the highest award given by the Scientific Council of the Slovak Academy of Sciences, this achievement highlights Prof. Hrmova’s significant contribution to her field.
Alongside this award, Prof. Hrmova was also presented with a Commemorative Medal from the Institute of Chemistry of the Slovak Academy of Sciences. This award was presented by the Director of the Institute of Chemistry on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of its foundation, in recognition of Prof. Hrmova’s long-term collaboration.
