An exciting opportunity exists for a highly organised, energetic professional to join the Australian Plant Phenomics Network (APPN) in a key leadership role.
The APPN is comprised of nine renowned research organisations that offer advanced phenotyping technologies and digital innovation to transform Australian plant and agricultural science.
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) provides high level advice and executive management support to the APPN CEO and Advisory Board to support decision making on policy and strategy. The COO has substantial managerial responsibility across budgets, resource allocation, risk management, strategy and future planning, commercialisation of APPN outputs, and partner engagement. Working in close collaboration with APPN Nodes, the COO ensures that contractual funding obligations are met and coordinates responses to requests from the Australian Government’s Department of Education and other APPN stakeholders.
