SARDI has welcomed Nick Smart, who has taken the reins as the Plant Research Centre, Greenhouse Services Supervisor.
Nick is highly experienced and joins SARDI following a long and distinguished career in the nursery industry having managed a family wholesale production nursery business for many years and more recently serving as a key advisor to a commercial horticulture production company. Nick has also been active as an officer in various nursery industry associations.
Nick brings a fresh outlook and a wide range of expertise to the role and is keen to catch up with all researchers and technical staff to learn more about your work. SARDI’s aim is for Nick and the Greenhouse Services team to work collegiately with you in developing future projects and to ensure that greenhouse support services are tailored to meet your requirements.
