The Playford Trust is pleased to advise the 2020 Playford Trust Scholarship Program is now open for nominations. Nominations close 17 January 2020.
There are 30 scholarships on offer under the 2020 program including 18 Honours or fourth year scholarships, 2 PhD and 1 Masters scholarships, and nine 1st year scholarships.
The Trust and a range of high calibre partners provides support for outstanding students studying in the following priority areas – all of which are of strategic importance to South Australia.
- Agriculture, aquaculture and food production
- Water, energy and climate change
- Advanced manufacturing and new technologies
- Health sciences and associated new technologies
- Mining and resources development
Of particular interest to students and staff at Waite is the Honours scholarship in barley breeding science or yeast fermentation supported by Coopers. The scholarship awards the recipient $7,000.
