Innovation on display at the ATSE New Fellows Showcase

Adelaide University was well represented as Principal Partner at the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences & Engineering New Fellows Showcase on the 30th of October.

In collaboration with the WRI, a series of tech demos, including the latest research from Waite Campus were presented to show new real-world technologies that are already improving our lives.

Innovations on display included novel bushfoods and sustainable food technologies, and research supporting life off-Earth and on through more sustainable crop production from the ARC Centre of Excellence in Plants for Space.

At the induction of the new Fellows on the Wednesday evening, our very own Bill Hirt together with our chef in Residence Kane contributed a hemp seed ricotta dish to the canapé menu, highlighting delicious innovative research in action.
