Hosted at the picturesque Adelaide Oval on 20-22 August, the Wheat Breeding Assembly (WBA) will bring together breeders and pre-breeding researchers from across the grains industry, as well as industry stakeholders that represent the value-chain (from agronomists to buyers to exporters to growers).
Abstracts and registrations are currently open and we encourage you to become part of this significant event for the 2019 grains calendar, sooner rather than later. Abstract submissions close on the 20th May, with early bird registration closing 3rd June before a price increase.
Sponsored by the University of Adelaide and WheatHub, the 2.5 day event will focus on not only delivering the latest science behind wheat breeding and pre-breeding but will also provide networking opportunities with leading breeders, pre-breeding scientists, growers and other end-users of wheat varieties as part of the industry day.
This promises to be an exciting event both scientifically and socially – so we encourage you to visit the website, register and submit an abstract today before it’s too late!
