Congratulations to AFW researcher Dr Yongle (Leo) Li who is one of 24 scientists selected worldwide by Bayer Crop Science for its prestigious Grants4Ag program.
First introduced in 2015, the program has evolved in 2020 to offer researchers financial and scientific support to develop ideas for novel solutions across R&D areas in crop science. With the support of Grants4Ag, Dr Yongle (Leo) Li will develop genomic selection tools to improve plant breeding method with the help of deep learning models and advanced DNA sequencing technologies.
