From the Urrbrae House instagram page:

We are very honoured at Urrbrae House to be the first recipient of an award from the Marsden Szwarcbord Foundation’s “First Nations and Community Museums: Sharing Histories” grant program to support the further development of our First Nations Foods Garden.

The Foundation’s grant program, made possible due to a generous philanthropic donation, encourages community museums in South Australia to reach out to or continue collaborations with First Nations communities in line with the Australian Museums and Galleries Association’s, “First Peoples: A Roadmap for Enhancing Indigenous Engagement in Museums and Galleries.”

The establishment of the garden was made possible thanks to the support of the Yitpi Foundation. The new Marsden Szwarcbord Foundation grant will enable Urrbrae House manager and historian, Lynette Zeitz and Dr Kate Delaporte, Curator of the Waite Arboretum in collaboration with Red Centre Enterprises to further share First Nations knowledge and stories with the public in culturally sensitive ways.

Pictured in the first photograph in the Urrbrae House Dining Room is Dr Kate Delaporte, Mitchell Thompson from the Marsden Szwarcbord Foundation, Lynette Zeitz and Dr Susan Marsden, Director of the Foundation.
