Young in Soil and Earth Sciences Society South Australia (YISES SA) and Soil Science Australia SA are hosting a Quiz Night!
The event is a fundraiser to support South Australian students travelling to Perth for the 2026 National Soil Judging Competition, where they’ll have the opportunity to gain hands-on soil science experience and represent SA nationally.

The night is open to everyone and will feature plenty of general knowledge (with just a little soil trivia!), prizes and a silent auction. We’ve already had an amazing response from the community, with prizes and silent auction items generously donated by local businesses, organisations and individuals, so there should be plenty up for grabs on the night!
It will be a great opportunity to bring together people from across SA’s soil, agriculture, landcare and environmental science communities.

All proceeds go directly towards student travel costs for the National Soil Judging Competition.
