The Primary Industries AgTech PhD Scholarship at The University of Adelaide is funded by Primary Industries and Regions SA (PIRSA) to support a full time PhD student who is undertaking research in a topic that will aid or improve primary industry production or profitability through the application of technology.

Eligibility:  Applicants must be students who are acceptable as candidates for a PhD/Master by Research degree at the University of Adelaide.  Full eligibility criteria is listed within the Expression of Interest Form (pdf file).

International students are now eligible to apply.

Stipend:  The scholarship will be for 3 years with a possible 6 month extension and has a stipend of $28,092 (indexed annually) per annum plus an additional supplement of $10,000 per annum (total $38,092). It is likely to be tax exempt, subject to Taxation Office approval.
