The Waite Research Institute is supporting a scheme to promote early and mid career researcher led honours projects. This scheme will include student scholarships of $1500 to help attract students to the projects, as well as operating budgets of $4000 to facilitate EMCR led projects, with funding available for 5 projects in the first instance.
An aim of the scheme is to facilitate collaborative projects between EMCRs from different research groups, including from across the university and external partners, with such projects likely to be given preference. EMCRs that have not already had the opportunity to supervise students are especially encouraged to apply.
