On Thursday 14 June the Wine Alumni Network hosted an evening to celebrate Stephen Clarke’s illustrious career at the University of Adelaide. The night was a roaring success with nearly 200 alumni, staff, students, industry, family and friends in attendance.

The night highlighted wine from Stephen’s past students including; Adelina (Clare Valley), Vinteloper (Various), Bleasdale (Langhorne Creek), Patritti (Adelaide), Ochota Barrels (Adelaide Hills), Indevin (New Zealand), Lambert Estate (Barossa Valley), Tamberlaine (Hunter Valley), Samuels Gorge (McLaren Vale), Marisco (New Zealand) and Kate Radburnd Wines (New Zealand).

During the evening a number of people shared their stories about Stephen including; Paul Grbin on behalf of the Wine Alumni Network, Leigh Clarnette, B App Sc (Oen) 1984, Chris Day from Australian Wine Research Institute (AWRI) and Interim Head of School Associate Professor Christopher Ford.

The evening was a rare wine moment where old friends were catching up, new friendships were being made and there was lot of exciting networking.

It was amazing to see how Stephen has impacted his students during and after their time at the University.
