Are you looking for impactful research? Applications are open for PhD research on confronting climate change, digital technologies for irrigated agriculture, enhancing water supply and realising value from within rural communities.  All PhDs work closely with industry partners in the iconic Murray-Darling Basin.

The One Basin Cooperative Research Centre (CRC) offers attractive PhD packages across multiple universities in Australia (Australian National University, Charles Sturt University, Flinders University, The University of Adelaide, The University of Melbourne, The University of Sydney):

  • Up to 4-year scholarship including a ½ year internship with an industry partner.
  • Full scholarships ($35,000 per annum) or top-ups ($10,000 per annum) are available and are open to domestic and international students.

The University of Adelaide will host two of these PhD Programs, listed below:
