Bio: As a plant pathologist, I specialise in forest and tree health, with a focus on biosecurity, ecology, epidemiology, and the management of plant pathogens. My research has primarily centred on diseases in native and plantation forests, where I have made significant contributions to biosecurity protocols, integrated pest management strategies, plant ecophysiology, resistance breeding programs, and molecular plant pathology. I place a strong emphasis on collaboration and interdisciplinary research, and actively seek opportunities to integrate emerging technologies and insights from other scientific fields. Driven by a deep commitment to forest health, I am dedicated to ensuring that my research delivers practical, on-ground outcomes—informing management practices and policies that safeguard forest assets and critical ecosystems.
