Growing Bush Tucker – Waite Community Gardens | Lunch time Friday 28 May & Monday 31 May

Planting bush tucker food at the Waite Community Gardens will be occurring on Friday 28 May and Wednesday 31 May. Please feel free to join us in preparing the garden beds on Friday 28 May. The bush tucker plants will be planted on Monday 31 May. Please BYO plants if you want to participate.

Waite Arboretum Indigenous Plants Tour| Monday 31 May @ 10:30am

A Waite Arboretum Guided Tour with Maarten Ryder exploring the indigenous plants used for food and medicine on Monday 31 May. The walk will start at 10:30am sharp from in front of Urrbrae House, Waite Campus. Please gather near the staircase leading to the main entrance of Urrbrae House .

Dr Maarten Ryder of University of Adelaide (who has also been associated with Yitpi Foundation Forum) has kindly agreed to lead us on the walk. The maximum number of people that could be accommodated on this walk is 20 (first come first serve).
