Title: Exact inference for small field trials
As it stands, small designs with 3 – 6 reps of 3 – 10 treatments form the bulk of trials managed by the agriculture research providers and consultants in the region. Focussing only on single trial analysis in this talk, I compare model-based and permutation-based inferences in a set of recent designs from some of our collaborators. I will also consider incorporating baseline covariates in covariate-adjusted designs and give a preview of a recent development of an order restricted randomized design.
