Title: An Overview of the NVT Analysis

Presenter: Nicholas Lambert, Biometry Hub, University of Adelaide

Each year, more than 650 trials are sown at more than 300 trial sites for 10 crop types as part of the National Variety Trials. Tested varieties include commercially relevant varieties available to Australian grain growers, as well as advanced lines from breeding companies and seed programs. AAGI-UA has the responsibility of analysing these trials. In this talk we present an overview of the factor analytic linear mixed modelling used in the analysis process and discuss how results can be presented in a manner that provides useful information to stakeholders.
