Student Care at Waite

Student Care will be hosting a free ‘Snacks for Study’ stall on Thursday August 14th between 10:30 am and 1 pm in the Waite Hub kitchen.
Come and meet our Education & Welfare Officer, Ann. Visit the kitchen to have a chat, find out more about Student Care and collect free study snacks such as fruit, yoghurt, muesli bars, and a drink!
What are Education & Welfare Officers?
Education and Welfare Officers (EWOs) are able to provide advice, support or information on any of the following matters:
- Information and referral for any issue which affect a student’s ability to study
- Academic complaints, grievances and student rights issues
- Accommodation assistance
- Loans and small grants
- Centrelink, tax and legal assistance
