About the speaker
Dr Didier is the Deputy Director of Science and Technology of Milk and Eggs at INRAE, the French National Research Institute for Agriculture, Food and the Environment, in Rennes, France.
In 2011, Didier established, and has since coordinated, the European Cooperation in Science and Technology (COST) Action INFOGEST network on food digestion, which has grown to a major international research network. He is also the coordinator of the CALIS French research infrastructure on Food, Consumer and Health.
His expertise in the area of food digestion has led to many leadership roles, including for the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA). He has also been involved in, or led, multiple European Commission Programs, Innovative Training Networks, amongst others.
