Title: An Introduction to Causal Discovery

A fundamental task in various domain of science, including biology, physics, etc., is to find underlying causal relations and make use of them. Causal relations can be seen if interventions are properly applied; however, in many cases they are difficult or even impossible to conduct. Thus, there is a need to discover underlying causal relations from purely observational data, which is known as causal discovery or causal structure search. In this talk, I will give a brief introduction to causal discovery, and gives several examples of its applications.
