As part of our ongoing smoke taint research, we will be conducting sensory analysis of a series of wines on Friday 13th, Monday 16th and Tuesday 17th December – and we would like to invite you to participate.

Because we have limited sample volumes, we will be using Rate-All-That-Apply (i.e. you will be asked to rate the intensity of a defined set of descriptors) with 5 different wines to be evaluated each day.

Each session should only take ~20-25 minutes of your time.

Sessions will take place in the Level 4 sensory lab in the Wine Innovation Central building.

Participants will receive a $10 gift voucher per session (and a palate cleansing chocolate!) in return for their time. University of Adelaide staff may not be eligible for the $10 gift voucher, but please don’t let that put you off helping a campus colleague!

If you’re available (on any or every day!), please let me know which session you’d like to attend (i.e. ~10am, 11am, 12pm, 1pm or 2pm – you don’t need to come exactly on the hour – any time in the first half of the session would be fine) – by email to kerry.wilkinson@adelaide.edu.au.

Please note participants must be at least 18 years of age and regular wine consumers (i.e. you consume wine at least monthly).
