Yiming Huo, a PhD student of Prof. Kerry Wilkinson, invites wine consumers to participate in a wine tasting – assisting a smoke taint project.

We are looking for wine tasters to taste seven smoke-tainted wines / session and rate the intensity of sensory attributes of the wines as instructed. 

You will receive an AU$10 gift voucher at the end of each session.

Location: Sensory laboratory, Level 4, Wine Innovation Central Building, Waite Campus, The University of Adelaide (cnr of Hartley Grove and Paratoo Rd, Urrbrae, SA 5064)

Expected duration: The trial is composed of one session, which includes an evaluation of 7 wines (less than 30 min).

There are two sessions available (white and red wines). You are welcome, but not required to participate in both sessions.

Sessions available:

  • Session one (white wine): Wednesday 5th Oct 10am, 11am, 12pm, 2pm, 3pm, 4pm
  • Session two (red wine): Wednesday 12th Oct 10am, 11am, 12pm, 2pm, 3pm, 4pm
