With an extended deadline of Wednesday 6 July 2022 at 5.00pm AEST, there is still time to nominate an exceptional individual, breaking new ground in the technological sciences and engineering for the prestigious ICM Agrifood Award.

Who is eligible?

Consider nominating candidates who are demonstrating outstanding research in applied science, technology and engineering that makes a real and valuable contribution to Australia’s agricultural sector. ICM particularly encourages the nomination of trailblazers from under-represented groups in STEM.

The ICM Agrifood Award recognises and acknowledges the outstanding work of two early career scientists or technologists. The awardees will have achieved substantial peer/industry recognition for their work in a field critical to continued improvement of the overall Australian food sector in the past five years.

Winners each receive $5000, sponsored by ICM Agribusiness, one of Australia’s major agribusiness groups.
