What does the future of food look like? Join our expert panel of speakers and discover what we can expect our food to look like in the future!
Professor Andrew Lowe:
From ugly vegetables, to AgTech, bee pollination to native foods, Professor Andrew Lowe lays out the challenges of an industry going through unprecedented change whilst trying to ensure productive and sustainable practices.
Dr Caitlin Byrt:
Take a molecular view of what we eat. Hear how advances in synthetic biology technologies will let us create designer crops and shave years (or even decades) off developing new varieties.
Could eating insects (entomophagy) be an alternative source of protein in the future? Hear how they could be an option for future meals – you may even like to try a sample!
Visit ‘Curiosity Lane’ and meet representatives from businesses and organisations dedicated to technology and innovation around the future of our food.
