Ag Institute SA Networking event

Apr 9, 5:00 pm - 7:30 pm

$10 – $20

AIA SA is pleased to invite you to join us in a great evening of networking and discussion.

Guest Speaker:  Ms Prue Adams, ABC SA Landline Bureau

Life as a rural journalist

Prue will reflect on being a long-time on-the-road TV journo, driving to far-flung places with a couple of blokes in a 4wd; its joys and challenges.

Join us to hear about the current state of rural journalism, changes in the delivery of information and future expectations. The AIA, its members and all involved with agricultural pursuits operate in a crowded global communication world. What are the relevant lessons about effective communication?

Prue’s contribution to rural journalism has been recognised by a number of awards, including the 2016 International Federation of Agricultural Journalists (IFAJ) ‘Best Rural Broadcast Journalist in the World’ for her report on Q-Fever.”

A brief AIA SA Division general meeting will also be held on the night.

Drinks and nibbles provided.

To assist with catering, please register by Thursday 4 April

Cost: AIA Members and students $10, Non-members $20 payable at the door
