Applications are now open for The Crawford Fund International Agricultural Research Student Awards. Applications are invited from undergraduate and postgraduate students interested in gaining international agricultural research experience in developing countries.

As part of The Crawford Fund’s efforts to encourage a strong interest by young Australians in agriculture for development, the SA Committee of the Crawford Fund is offering a small number of competitive travel awards for tertiary students. The purpose of the awards is to make it possible for students to gain valuable experience and expertise in research in developing countries. Only one or two awards will be made in 2018.

You can download more information and an application form for one of these awards by going to our website at: https://www.crawfordfund.org/training/state-programs/sa-committee/

You can also contact Roger Wickes, Coordinator for the South Australia Committee, at roger.wickes@crawfordfund.org for more information.

Closing date for applications is COB 29 March 2018.

Crawford Fund Student Awards are also offered in other States and Territories. Requirements in different States are not the same. There is a different number of these competitive awards in different States, and the application requirements and the award amounts also differ, so please read the background information and complete the application form for the State in which your tertiary institute is located.
